About

The Company

Matimar was founded in Varna, Bulgaria at the start of 2024 by Matthew Cooke and Maria Boneva, who are the owners of the company.

The purpose of the company is to deliver consultancy services in the area of high integrity software to the European market.

Service Delivery

Our way of working is to first take the time to understand the client’s business and develop understanding of their embedded software applications, and to truly understand the problems that they are trying to solve before making proposals for how Matimar can help.

We understand that on any project circumstances change, so we manage our service delivery in a flexible way, so that while there is always a detailed plan provided to the client for what we will deliver over the immediately upcoming period, we also remain flexible to adapt to changes.

Matimar does not prefer any particular tool, technology or methodology. We believe that each has its pros and cons and there is no “silver bullet” that will solve all problems.  Because we are tool, technology and methodology agnostic we can help our clients to do what is best for them, selecting from the complete range of available methodologies, tools and technologies.

Matimar delivers our services primarily from our offices in Bulgaria, with visits to client sites according to the needs of the client.

Our Technical Manager will be personally involved in the delivery of all services, to ensure that the service provided is of high quality and meets clients’ needs.

Languages

All technical work is at present carried out in English. We can translate technical material between English and Bulgarian if needed for a project (we do not, however provide a translation service).

For non-technical communication, we can do this in either English or Bulgarian.
